An Insight into Mechanical and Metallurgical Behavior of Hybrid Reinforced Aluminum Metal Matrix Composite

Hybrid reinforced particulate aluminum matrix composite materials (HAMCs) are a breakthrough kind of material made by combining two or more distinct reinforcing components in the (Al) matrix. Composites with many phases offer superior overall mix characteristics than composites only one. This article’s wide literature review metal (MMC) especially for (AMC) was carried out. Discussions various widely adopted synthesis methods such as stir casting and powder metallurgy have been presented. The effect reinforcement ceramic particles silicon carbide (SiC), oxide (Al2O3), graphite (Gr) on mechanical metallurgical properties MMC has reviewed. summary characterizations X-ray diffraction (X-RD), optical microscopy (OM) including testing hardness, tensile, compressive, tribological behavior discussed detail to demonstrate full grasp features HAMCs, manufacturing, physicomechanical properties, wear, corrosion characteristics. Future developments potentially useful alternative reinforcements at end review.
